Perfect Results Professional Creme Conditioning Relaxer Mild - 16 oz

This no-base lye relaxer protects the hair and scalp during the relaxing process. Rich shea butter prevents burns while the relaxer effectively straightens the hair. The result is hair that?s more manageable with amazing texture, body and shine. Available in mild for fine or color-treated hair and regular for normal hair types.

Warning

This product contains Sodium Hydroxide (lye). You must follow directions carefully to avoid skin and scalp burns, hair loss and eye injury.

1. Do not use if scalp is irritated or injured.
2. Do not use on bleached hair. Do not use on permanently colored hair which is breaking, splitting or otherwise damaged. For hair that has been permanently colored and shows no sign of damage, use only mild strength formula.
3. If hair has been previously relaxed, relax only the new growth as described in the directions
4. If the relaxer causes skin or scalp irritation, rinse out immediately and wash with a non alkaline shampoo (pH below 7). If irritation persists or if hair loss occurs consult a physician.
5. If the relaxer gets into eyes, rinse immediately and consult a physician.

Preliminary Strand Test

Take a small amount of Perfect Results Creme Conditioning Relaxer and apply to a strand of hair and spread evenly from root area to end. Leave on hair no longer than 30 minutes. Note relaxation of hair or any damage to hair. If test shows hair breakage or other signs of damage, do not use product until hair has been reconditioned and restored.

Before you begin, read carefully

1. USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.
2. Creme Relaxer must not be applied to scalp.
3. For patrons who perspire, apply lubricant on hairline skin area.
4. Hot combs or other heated implements should not be used with Perfect Results Creme Conditioning Relaxer.
5. Do not shampoo, wet or brush hair.
6. Use a timer. Begin timing with the application. Most heads require 15 - 22 minutes. NOTE: ONLY NON-POROUS, RESISTANT HAIR may require up to 25 minutes. Most hair will require less than 25 minutes.

CAUTION: Strand test frequently. Relax only to the maximum permitted by the condition of the hair. For retouches, apply relaxer to new growth only.

Directions

1. Wearing protective gloves, apply Creme Relaxer to hair starting one inch above nape line. Apply to small sections, working toward the forehead.
2. After application of Creme Relaxer, begin smoothing motion in area where first applied working in same direction as application. Do not exceed maximum time. Do not allow Creme Relaxer to come in contact with scalp.
3. When desired relaxing has been obtained, rinse hair thoroughly with strong force of warm water until HAIR IS FREE OF ALL Creme Relaxer. Keep rinse water away from eyes.
4. Shampoo with Perfect Results Conditioning Neutralizing Shampoo.
